Politics ....Or Not?

There is a lot of politicking going on around these days. And of course, I would like to address this subject with scripture, as well as from my viewpoint. The following scriptures seem to be the main scriptures, which indicate that Politics are part of a Believers life.
Romans 13:1-7
Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, for he is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God's wrath on the wrongdoer. Therefore one must be in subjection, not only to avoid God's wrath but also for the sake of conscience.

Hebrews 13:17
Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you

In all situations, leaders are always appointed by God. In the Old Testament however, when God's people where asking for a King, just as the neighboring countries made this a practice, I am not so sure if this was just a choice from God to appoint bad Kings because of the hardness of His people's hearts or whether the people where allowed to make bad choices on their own......which altogether is still with the permission of God. Just as He permits satan to buff us, as he did with Job. For the purpose of refining us not harming us.

Politics
According to Wikipedia:
(from Greek: Politiká: Politika, definition "affairs of the cities") is the process of making decisions applying to all members of each group. More narrowly, it refers to achieving and exercising positions of governance — organized control over a human community, particularly a state. Furthermore, politics is the study or practice of the distribution of power and resources within a given community (a usually hierarchically organized population) as well as the interrelationship(s) between communities.

So that gives us a better understanding what Politics are.
Yes we know politicians, but often we don't really know what they are supposed to do. Mostly, they are supposed to follow the law and rules of the land and govern as well protect the people. At least in a democratic setting.
God wants for us to be governed by Him first. But as I mentioned in the Old Testament, His people did not think that God was all they needed, they asked for a King.
When Jesus was born, God released the Government on His shoulders. Meaning, now Jesus was in charge of God's people. Therefore the New Testament was given. Not to put away the Old Testament but to fulfill it and set the New Testament into motion.
God wants us to experience life in His perimeters of safety and provision. But there is more to this of course. We are to take up the rule of heaven on this earth. Which in some way would be politics.  Not by ourselves but by the habitation of Christ in us and the habitation of the Holy Spirit in us as well, with teaching, comfort and power.

Summery: I strongly believe that Believers of Christ need to be involved in politics and all other matters of life as long as we are remaining on this earth. We are to be the salt and light and be a perfect testimony to all. Not by being perfect but by allowing a perfect Christ to dwell in us and reign through us.

My prayer today: Lord You are Lord of all and Lord of my life. Help me to understand exactly what that means and direct me to every aspect of life you want me to be Your hand, feet and voice. AMEN

Be well and good bye.....until next time.

LETTERS FROM GOD

I came across this post today. It is from last year one of my FB comments. An excerpt  from one on the books I read and I thought it would be great to share this with you.

Letters from God...to me
I give all myself to you
Luke 5-20

I forgive you for everything, even the things that you cannot forgive yourself for. I embrace you in your pain. I turn to you when you cry out. I need your company. Every hour I see you, even in the jungle that surrounds you. I hear your heart beating in the night. I remember everything about you when everyone else forgets. I free you from the old. Rusty chains of the past. I cherish you like a newborn. I watch over you in t...he battle. I restore your joy in the morning. I comfort your loss and listen to your desires even when they make no sense. I strengthen you for the journey. I favor you with open doors. I adopt you as my own. I spare you from judgement. I heal every disease. I hide you from the raging storms of life. I protect you from yourself, and I love you with an everlasting love that cannot be extinguished. I give all myself to you unrestrictedly.

Wow, if we could only be able to embrace this with all of our heart.

Unfortunately, many cannot. If this causes a sting in your heart, a knot in your belly or a thought - this could never be for me, then I suggest to do some heart/soul searching in God's presence. If needed, literally in your living room on the floor or any other comfy place. All answers, all hope, all provision comes from God to us! Period. No buts about it.

I myself had to do the exact thing: searching my heart and soul; and thankfully, I can say it worked, God answered and changes for the better where made. I sometimes, had to involve a trusted friend and that is ok.

...I give all myself to you unrestrictedly

Wow, what a statement.

Today, I pray that we would be able to embrace You God in Your fullness. With Your help and Grace. AMEN

Farewell and arrivederci.......until next time.

I Do It My Way......

Frank Sinatra sang a song with this statement: ".....I do it my way...."
This is what we are mostly told, do it your way, if it feels good it has to be good. Or how about this one: "I know what I am doing, my way or the highway"

Of course, God has given us a brain to think but that refers to thinking about His ways more than our own ways. Proverbs in the Bible are full of thoughts on how we should live our lives and why.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; Prov. 3:5

Doing it my way has always unwanted consequences. Being brought up in Germany, often we are taught not to ask for help and to do things our way until there is absolute no way to continue on our own. Which should  not be the way of the Church. Living our life "my way" limits us. We cannot receive the waste intelligence and provision of God that way. One must believe though that there is a better way of living, making decisions. One must believe that God is the ultimate Wisdom in the universe.

As a woman, I have also found out that submitting myself to trusted persons in my life brings protection. God will use others to confirm and protect our course in life. For example: When I purchase a car, which I frequently do, I always consult trusted people. Not only 1 person but 2 or 3.

Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed. Prov. 15:22

I am saying that, by getting advise from others, I actually stay protected rather than foolish.
Submitting to others, such a word most people shy away from it. But as we submit ourselves to each other, God says this:
- to yield oneself to the power or authority of another. Which means that God will hold the person giving advise responsible for the outcome not the person asking for advise. Ergo: I am safe even if the decision turns out to be wrong. God's Grace will fix it, if I then turn to Him for help.

This is a very complex subject for another time, just getting your mind interested in maybe digging deeper.

Summery: Ask God for the way to go, don't rely on your own understanding on matters at hand and include others that can be trusted.

Once again, good bye and be well until next time.

How Great Your Love Is For Me.

We just don't get it......do we?

And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.
Rom. 5:5

Since the time, God has created human beings, He has been pouring out His love on us. He has denied Himself by giving up His only begotten son on the cross. He has loved us and is Love. He will love us forever and ever.

Selah

(Meaning pause)

What else is there to say when it comes to the Love of God for us? His love is so not like our understanding of love. We are not even scratching the surface of what it means to Him, to love us with His everlasting love.

We get a glimpse of it by experiencing the love of a parent to the child. For those who have fond memories during their childhood of their parents, count yourself fortunate. It is a small image on how God loves us.

As a spouse loving our husband/wife,  if it is a true loving relationship, we get a glimpse on how Jesus loves us.

But the ultimate love toward us is shown in God's forgiveness toward us. When we know, we deserve punishment for whatever we have done in sin. His love expressed in mercy and grace is the most amazing part of love there is.

What is your most memorable experience of God's love toward you?

Selah....pause and ponder on it.

Or maybe you have not ever consciously experienced His love. It is time that we understand His love for us. What a waste of His time when we reject His love over and over. But often, we have such trauma and disappointment in our hearts/souls that we cannot open ourselves to God.
We may need the help of another to engage into the presence of God. We may just ask Him to show Himself to us. Why wouldn't He? He created us for Him, to love us.

You may have believed in God for a very long time, and have gone through the motions of life, lost the connection heart to heart with God. It is never too late to rekindle the passion of God's love toward us. He is waiting patiently for us to return to our FIRST LOVE.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

My prayer today: Father help us to open our hearts and minds toward You to find out just how much You really love us.

Selah........

Dreams

“‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams Acts 2:17

“And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions Joel 2:28

Daniel in the Old Testament was a Dream Interpreter. He received the interpretation directly from God, the Holy Spirit. I, as an interpreter value this very much. I help people, speaking different languages to understand each other. Daniel really helped people by interpreting their dreams. But the dreams have not always been good or pleasant dreams.

Today, I would like to share parts of a dream that I recently had. In this dream, next to other moments, I heard a voice behind me speaking. It was a voice of authority and this voice had very helpful and encouraging words to say. As I turned around to find out who it was, I just saw a box (cardboard) on the ground. I found this to be quite strange but continued in my dream with other things I was faced with.

After discussing this dream with my daughter, God actually gave me the complete interpretation of the dream. Coming back to the voice in the box. I realized it was the Holy Spirit. This voice was in the box and wanted to be released from the box. As I mentioned in another blog earlier: we often put God (the Holy Spirit) in a box. Meaning, we don't allow God to use us in a way He would like to use us. For example: He wants to speak His truth and words to us and through us. In the Old Testament, God mainly used Prophets to speak to His people, which He does today still. But because all believers and followers of God have the ability to hear God, He can use all of us to speak at one time or another.

And if we allow God to use us to speak to others, there is always a supernatural occurrence happening. God speaks directly to our hearts and spirit, bypassing the mind. In this moment our reasoning is passed by and He speaks as He spoke to Adam and Eve. We will hear him without prejudice.

We also will never forget when He spoke directly to us or uses a person to speak to us. God knows the secrets of our hearts and often uses a person to speak to us about those secrets. Not to scare us but to confirm that it is God speaking to us. It's like He read our secret mail. That is what happens when God gives messages to pastors to speak to the congregation.

Anyway, coming back to the dream. It serves as a direction to me, telling me what is to come and what I need to consider and even change.

Dreams should always be lining up with the Word of God, meaning: they should serve as a vehicle of positive outcome in our lives. They should be encouraging and correcting and lining up with our life and always pointing us to Him and His wisdom.

Yes, there are dreams of warning. Dreams that are solely for the purpose of correction, maybe asking us to turn from sin. But once again, the outcome of a dream should always be leading us to Christ and His ways and love.

Interpreting dreams is not always easy. With the help of the Holy Spirit we can understand though. As in many other parts of our lives, we need to ask God for help. After all, He is the One who knows everything about us.

Praying today for all of us to have a listening ear toward God and what His Spirit is saying to us and through us. Father, help us to listen more than to speak. Help us to understand Your wisdom and make changes when changes are necessary. AMEN

Jadios and farewell until next time.

He speaks - Are you listening?

Have you ever thought about that God is actually speaking to us? No, really! He speaks to us all the time. I had a discussion today with someone, asking that very question. I don't think he was able to believe that.
Do you believe that God speaks to you?

Psalm 50:1 The Mighty One, God, the Lord, speaks and summons the earth from the rising of the sun to where it sets.

Ezekiel 10:5 The sound of the wings of the cherubim could be heard as far away as the outer court, like the voice of God Almighty when he speaks.

In the book of Job it is written as following: "Then the Lord spoke to Job out of the storm. He said: “Who is this that obscures my plans with words without knowledge?......

I am not focusing here so much on what is said but rather the fact who talks.
GOD SPEAKS to Job! That is a fact like in other parts of the Bible where God speaks to people.

So, we can be assured: HE SPEAKS to US too. Right?
What then has He been saying to you? All this time you have been alive - what has He been saying to you?

He told me that I can ask Him anything, sometimes He may not be answering tight away but He will answer. He said: "Ask me anything!"

Why wouldn't we ask Him anything? We are prideful, the rebellious teenager comes to mind. We are fearful, afraid of what we hear and don't like to hear and so on. All preconceived ideas how the God of the universe will speak to me.

Let's look at it from this point. What, just imagine, what if He would say such words: I love you? I like you? I can make a way for you where there seems to be no way! You are my beloved! You are made you in my image!

All those words have been spoken to before, in the Word of God (Bible) written down. Why should we then not believe that God does not speak to us, personally? HE DOES.

Knowing on how God's speaks to us and what He would say to us, is made easier when one knows the written word of God. As a roadmap so to speak. All spoken words (Rhema) of God should bring us confirmation, direction, peace and comfort and correction. Unless we are in sin. Even then, the Word spoken to us may seem harsh but God will give us also a positive note which will always lead us to HIM. Because, even if He speaks to us when we are in sin, His goal is ALWAYS to bring us back to Him and His plan for us.

Summery: Believe that God speaks, back it up with the word of God and confirmation from people we trust. Believe that we can hear Him speak. He is our Shepherd and the word says we know His voice and will not follow another. He spoke this earth into existence in the book of Genesis.

God speak to us, often with clarity and confirmation. Help us to believe You do and give us courage to follow You.

Good bye until next time.

Revenge or not?

Revenge - or not?

Joseph had a dream, and when he told it to his brothers, they hated him all the more. Gen. 37:5

We go through life and we take care of our business. We have dreams and aspirations and ideas on how to become someone, right?

What if all this, life itself turns into a big mess? What then? Joseph had a dream, he didn't hold back on sharing this dream with his brothers. They hated him for it. They developed anger and disgust toward Joseph for having the audacity to proclaim all the great things Joseph would accomplish in his lifetime.

Does that sound familiar?

Today, I am skipping forward. Writing about God's ways to take us from taking care of our business through suffering like hell, sometimes..... to the ways of God in restoration of lost moments in time and lost relationships.

Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord. Rom 12:19

Revenge: the act of revenging; retaliation for injuries or wrongs; vengeance

Retaliation for injuries or wrongs.....in other words, giving back the pain, loss and suffering to the one who has caused it on us.

Joseph as other men, has suffered tremendously. There came a time when his family, his brothers who have afflicted him, appeared in front of him. After he had been separated from them for years. Egypt was a place for Joseph to right a wrong, done to him by his family. Not in the sense we perceive to make a wrong right. But in God's ways.

Joseph's family was in dire straights, begging Joseph (Egypt) whom they did not recognize, for help. Joseph saw his family and I can only imagine how he must have felt like.
Anger, maybe even rage rising up in his mind. All these years of hellish sufferings going through Joseph's mind. Maybe even thinking of some cruel punishment toward his brothers.
Well, Joseph was second in command in Egypt and it would have been easy for him to afflict punishment on his family members. It must have been agonizing to look at them and very tempting.

Yet what does Joseph do? After a while of contemplating, I am sure, he actually does embrace them. That surely is not the way this world wants to make us encounter people who have done us wrong. But it is God's way for us to forgive each other and continue to live peaceably.

In reality, it does not always work out this way. We know that even in scripture many have died for their wrong doing. God has allowed many to be punished by death. That does not mean it is God's first choice of handling conflict. He sees our hearts and He alone knows our intent. That is how He judges us.

Coming back to Joseph. Because Joseph stepped into God's grace and forgiveness toward his family (made a decision), many have found life at that moment. Joseph was reunited with his family and God received the Glory for His great and wonderful love and plan for us.

Let's make room for God to avenge. Period.

So long, sending you a prayer of courage to forgive. AMEN

Trust and Confidence = Fredoom

Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” Hebr.13:15

Unfortunately, often we respond to others out of our weaknesses rather than our strengths. Not only that, we often perceive others to do to us what our own weakness is. For example, if I had a cheating spouse, I expect others to betray me also. If I had an angry father or mother, I perceive God to be angry toward me also. If my parents neglected and rejected me, we often expect others to do the same.

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” Deut. 31:6

These two passages of scripture are just a few of many confirming to us that God is always with us, no matter what circumstance we find ourselves in. To help us and protect us and give to us what we need. To guide us and love us.

Rejection is a tool from hell!
Rejection tells us many things, e.g. "you are not good enough, pretty enough, rich enough, strong enough.......you are not enough......Well this does a number on people's soul and emotions. There are so many people in counselling and on antidepressants because of only this one. Not to mention many other hurting tools from hell.

But that is so contrary to God\s Word. We are enough for HIM. He accepts us through the sacrifice of God not by our own merit. Even though He loved us when we yet were sinners. Meaning when we were still doing all those terrible sinful things against God's will for us. He loved us anyway. Wow just imagine, you loving this cheating spouse, this betraying friend, this angry father and mother......not perceivable to many. We don't want to love someone hurting us...we want to rip their heads off and see them suffering for their evil deeds.

Well, God doesn't accept those evil deeds either. But because Jesus, all those sins and punishments have been nailed to the cross with Jesus. That is enough for God to bring us back to Him. Isn't that clever?

It makes my heart jump for joy and in the same time, I am very overcome with emotions of gratitude. Oh the sufferings of Jesus......but I am His now. FOREVER! And so are you if you accept Him in His fullness.

He never leaves me....this itself makes up for all the ones that left me hanging in rejection. There is not need for me to have emotions of anger and revenge toward those who have hurt me. He nailed all that to the cross. I am free to love, accept and forgive. What a wonderful concept. PEACE is with me through Jesus.

Peace has always been the thing that I cherished the most. Having lived without peace so many years......well that is a subject for another time.

I pray that all is well with you and me, knowing our God never leaves us. May our days be filled with His love and peace.

Farewell and good bye until next time.

Mistakes.....happen

Forsake foolishness and live, And go in the way of understanding.
Proverbs 9:6

Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you wished you wouldn't have made a choice as the one you made? Because the consequences have just been bad. I think we all find ourselves there at one point in our lifetime. Making decisions out of our own understanding.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight
Prov. 3:5-6

I have always struggled with this: How do I know which decision is the right one? This is a dilemma many find themselves in. Fear to make a wrong decision will cripple us to make any decision and nothing gets done.

I was crippled with fear for a very long time to make certain decisions. It just shows us how little wisdom we have. Yes, intelligence is found often with people but wisdom is a whole other thing. God's wisdom will keep us from making wrong decisions. God's wisdom will keep us from the lesser and steer us to the greater He has for us. Wisdom will keep us from unwanted consequences.

When we trust in God's wisdom, He will always keep us safe.
Even if we make wrong choices, as long as we then look to His wisdom again, His grace will lead us back to the right path. Repent and move on.

Here now, a little more about my experience in this matter. Just recently, I had to make a decision on a move, I perceived to be God's will. Well, I had been looking for places to live and it wasn't easy to find something. After looking at one particular house, it did fit most of my requirements and I was thinking this will do, and proceeding with the steps to obtain a new home, I grew more and more uneasy about several things regarding this home. The third day after, it became clear to me that something wasn't right. So I literally got on my knees and prayed. I asked God to reveal what was going on. And was ready to confess my mistake. He showed me this home was not His plan for me. In the meantime, I had already made plans in my mind for this home. It may just be the timing that is off.
In the past, He spoke often to me about being in peace when making decisions. If there is no peace about a certain decision, it should not be made. This was one of those moments where I did not have peace about this home any longer. It did not mean that there was something wrong with this home. It just meant it was wrong for me!

Here is the problem: When we hurry into making decisions, we forfeit time for God to show us YES or NO toward the item/way. We have to step back and release whatever it is we are getting ready to decide on, giving it to God first! Even if we feel it is His will for us.
This hymn comes to my mind again: "....we forfeit peace if we do not give everything to God in prayer." It's true.

The reason, especially if we feel it is His will, is that satan will try to lead us in the wrong direction. And even our own desires can lead us astray and sabotage God's plan.
To know for sure if God is leading us: Let the peace of God be our guide. This is what He has been showing me a long time ago and it has always worked. As well as all will fall into place. All provision will be on time and ready. It will not be a struggle as we struggle on our own. It will be as God has planned it for us.

The first scripture of today is taking about foolishness.....it is the main problem of the human heart. God's plans for us are to give us safety in Him, not become fools. Yes, I said it: not to become fools. I know what I am taking about my friend (laughing out loud) .

Anyway, I am leaving you today with this prayer: Lord help us not to be foolish and give us Your wisdom in any path and decision we take and make. Help us to be bold in denying our own understanding and the plans of the enemy. AMEN

Tschuess and good bye .......

Praises to the Lord

Be enthroned.....on the praises of a thousand generations, Jesus you are worthy, Lord of all.

This is a line in a song by Jeremy Riddle.

What I see in my mind's eye is this: Thousands and thousands of people, standing and praising Jesus for a thousand generations. Singing their praises from their hearts and glorify the Father in Heaven. This picture brings me to my knees. Just imagine the joy and love that is displayed in a moment such as this.

Being united by one thing: Praising our God who is the Creator of everything, Praising Jesus for what He has done for us. Praising God for who He is. Wow, just writing this melts my heart.

Praise the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens. Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness. Psalm 150:1-2

So many times in the Bible can we see people praising Jesus for all the wonderful deeds he has done. The ones who have been healed, delivered and restored had come in contact with the Love of God throuh Jesus' deeds.

When we are truly set free from disease, suffering and hardship how can we not live a life of Praise and Worship toward the One who has done this for us?
I remember when I first came to Pittsburgh, having a hard time adjusting and having been dropped into a situation of uncertainty. When we finally moved into a small one bedroom apartment, I found myself overwhelmed with fear and anxiety of the future. This fear became so strong one day that I had symptoms of a heart attack. There, I was all alone in my kitchen. Couldn't breathe, couldn't speak and thought this is it. I am dying.
All I could do is cry out to God in my heart. Then it happened, this feeling of a huge blockage in my chest disappeared in an instance. Gone!
I took a deep breath and knew, God did this. He delivered me. He saved me and set me free from this attack. Halleluliah

After that, I literally spent days, weeks telling almost everyone I came across what God has done for me. Just imagine that for a minute, being overjoyed with excitement.

......but the crowds learned about it and followed him. He welcomed them and spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and healed those who needed healing. Luke 9:11

.......and healing every disease and sickness among the people. Matthew 4:23

Praising God as true worshipper is one who intimately knows God and the by the healing power through Jesus is thankful for it.

Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. John 4:23

Once again, our Father is a good, good Father and He desires our praise and worship to connect us closer with Him. In the end for our own sake. When our hearts truly worship the one who has created us, then we are able to receive ALL that He has for us.

I for one, are very, very thankful for all the healing I have received so far. And only God was able to give this to me, without surgery, without heavy medication. Not that I see anything wrong with either. Doctors are a gift to us. But in my case, I did not need either.

Leaving you once again today with my prayer for us: to become transformed in any possible way. Healed and prosperous. Father, we thank you today for ALL that You have for us to receive and ALL that You are for us.

Arrivederci......until next time.

Born again - and what now?

And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
(The Great Commission) Matthew 28:18-20

The disciples of Jesus spent 3 years with Him, following every move of Him and heard every word of Him. This is comparable to a Shepherd in the Old Testament herding the sheep. A shepherd spent day and night with the sheep to feed them and keep them safe. We also know that God is called the Good Shepherd, being with us all the time, day and night, feeding us and keeping us safe.

The point of becoming a disciple of Jesus was to learn about Him and His ways.....or more learning about the Father's ways. Jesus said that He does and speaks only what the Father gives to Him. Well, we as the church need to know about all: the Father, the Holy Spirit and Jesus.

What are we to do after we are born again? There are numerous things I could list but one is particularly important. We are to share, to the point we know, what God has done for us and in us. It takes time to learn: college, new job, having a baby etc. it takes time to understand and learn about something we never knew.

It takes time to learn all the in's and out's about the Word of God and who is who in the Bible. But we don't need to knew it all right now, after being born again. All we need to know is what has happened to us so far - today. What is my experience about my walk with God so far, since I have been born again

I heard a pastor say this: "When you where sick and you got healed, you tell everyone. When people ask what was the disease you may say, I don't know exactly how to pronounce it. When people ask you which medication you took you may answer: I don't know." But you still tell everyone you are healed, right?

Being afraid of how we should speak about God is not necessary if we tell what we know.

And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. Mark 16:15

The Great Commission as we call it, is a mandate to preach to everyone the Gospel of Jesus. Reading and studying  the Bible, spending time in a Church Congregation listening to the Pastor preach and teach and spending time with other born again believers will help us to know more and more about this infinite God who loves us so much.

Summery: Start with what you know about God in your life. Share your experience of His love, provision, deliverance, healing....whatever it is that you know, He did for you. And follow Jesus as the disciples did daily.

Today my prayer is: Lord help us to get to know You more and more. Help us to follow You, seeing deeper and deeper into Your heart. Share yourself with us. AMEN

Adieu......until next time.

He does according to His Pleasure

What He does for us is for us - What He does in us is for others

And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us, And establish the work of our hands for us; Yes, establish the work of our hands. Psalms 90:17

So many times, I hear people saying: "God does not care about me, what I have or what I want." I beg to differ.
Throughout scripture, I see examples of God given opportunities to people. Opportunities to enrich their lives, make money and increase in monetary ways.

Some also say: "When I give myself to God, I will never have anything."
Well that is proven to be false also.  God is interested in our wellbeing and  our expansion/increase.

This is a lie from the pit of hell believing God does not care and unfortunately, I believed it for a long time. Not anymore, I have been set free from this lie and many others.

Yes, there may be a time that we are walking through financial hard times, but not for Him to withhold from us. The reason often is to prepare us for what He has for us and what He wants to give to us.

Proverbs 3:3-5

Let not mercy and truth forsake you;
Bind them around your neck,
Write them on the tablet of your heart,
And so find favor and high esteem
In the sight of God and man.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;

As we can see here, there are often actions/changes on our part that have to happen in order to receive the riches God wants us to have. No, not always riches in money but all blessings to become a wholesome being.

As a farmer sows and harvested a crop, so do we sow and harvest. It is for our consumption and for our families to live well.
.....What He does for us is for us

On the other side, let's look at the second part of the headline.
....What He does in us is for others

If and only if, we give our lives over to God by accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, will we be changed and transformed over time. It is called Sanctification. This process takes some time, how long you may ask?
I really don't know, but God knows. This is not some random time hitting and missing the mark with us. But a time of transformation just as from the caterpillar to the butterfly. To bring out by changing in us, the gift for us and others.

So, then when what He does in us is coming out and we are as a new creation manifested, things like anger, fear, selfishness, rudeness etc. are going to change into love, confidence, giving, kindness etc. And that is where what changes in us becomes the treasure for others to reap and enjoy.

We are being transformed into the likeness of Christ and Christ loves the church. We are the church, but we are asked to love God first and then our neighbor with all of our heart and as ourselves. In times of negative emotions running our lives, we are unable to love anyone like that. We think we do but it is not selfless love as the love of God.

Summery: What God prepares for us to reap is for us but what God changes inside of our mind is for others to enjoy.

Then they asked Him, saying, “Teacher, we know that You say and teach rightly, and You do not show personal favoritism, but teach the way of God in truth Luke 20:21

This is an important to know. |God does not prefer one to another, what He does for one He will do for another, So understand me correctly . This whole statement today is not whether He loves me more, gives me more than someone else. But it is for us to know that God cares for our wellbeing in overflow. He is not a terrible taskmaster, as I have addressed in a previous blog, but a generous GIVER.

What great news again. To know that God cares about my every need and even want.
The Lord is my shepherd;
I shall not want. Psalm 23:1

His will for us is more than just a set of rules to obey. His will for us is to enjoy an all surrounding, wholesome relationship with Him, here on earth and later in heaven when our time has come. He wants us to function as the Body of Christ. He wants us to do that for enjoyment and protection for each individual part of the body. You are called to be a part of this awesome body.

I cannot stop today without mentioning tithing and giving when speaking of giving  but will hold it for another time.

Here is my prayer for today: God grant us the wisdom to know the difference in wanting without purpose and wanting with Your purpose. Help us to understand who you are and teach us to give as You give. Help us to become the body of Christ for our sake.

Auf Wiedersehen and good bye........
