Help.... I am stuck in lack!

Lack - something needed,  that isn't there.
Have you ever found yourself lacking something?
I guess we all have at some point in life.

Oh, fear the Lord, you His saints!There is no want to those who fear Him.

     The young lions lack and suffer hunger;
But those who seek the Lord shall NOT lack any good thing.
Psalm 34:9-10

This scripture basically sums it all up. When we look for the Lord, we SHALL not lack!

I don't know about you , but I have had a season in life, struggling with making sense of things missing in my life. Surely, you have been there!

"Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know." Jeremiah 33:3

There are quite a few things we don't know; don't know about God and His ways. Why are we so dead set on relying on our own understanding? There are many reasons for it.
I assume they would mainly be pride and fear.

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and

supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be

made known to God; and the peace of God, which

surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and

minds through Christ Jesus."  Philippians 4:6-7

It takes exercising this truth to make it a habit and live a life of peace. Even in the midst of total chaos and danger.

As followers of Christ a mindset of lack is not necessary. We may be stuck in thinking, we experience lack but the Word of God is very clear on how to prevent lack. And therefore get unstuck.

Now, I am not speaking about all kind of stuff that we desire and is not in God's Will for us. I am speaking about the promises of God, He has for us as an individual. Meeting our needs and desires He has planted in our hearts.

"Call upon Me in the day of trouble;
I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.”
Psalm 50:15

Next time you find yourself feeling lacking, remember these and other parts in God's Word and the truth shall set you free and unstuck!

My Prayer today

Thank You Father, for giving us Your promises. Thank you Father for being a faithful God, providing ALL we could ever need. Thank you for bridging the gap of sin between us by Your son's death and resurrection.
In Jesus' Name we pray.
AMEN

Until next time, exercise the truth!!
