On Sunday, Easter morning, at church service: I received the manifestation of healing in my neck!!!
Do you remember the story in the Bible about the woman, who had the issue with blood? She suffered for a very long time. But she touched the hem of Jesus' garment and believed she was healed. And yes, she was healed. Just imagine the joy of being able to feel "normal"
Well, back to my healing moment. My pastor called out that he felt as if Jesus wanted to heal people with neck problems. I did not immediately run upfront, I hesitated. But then I decided I would just go for it. Low and behold, I was the only one.
There is an inheritance in our family which I am not happy to have gotten: Arthritis in my neck. We women in our lineage have been suffering from that for a very long time. This is what we call a generational curse.
To cope with the pain, I used to take a lot of pain medicine. This ailment often prevented me from sleeping laying down in my bed at night. I found myself sitting up and being very uncomfortable.
Under my shoulder plate in my back, over the years, I developed a large knot; touching it has always been very painful.
It is gone, healed and no longer existing. My daughter could verify that. Praise Jesus! Thank you for Your suffering to take on my sickness and pain so I do not have to any longer.
But here is the important aspect of this healing. Next day, I started having pain again. But at the same time, I discerned that this was something the enemy wanted me to believe is happening. I refused to take pain pills and started confessing over myself, that Jesus is my Healer, I am healed by His stripes He took for my infirmities.
This was not just a broken bone, ready to be healed but actually a battle of the mind on whether I would believe that I am healed!!
The enemy comes to rob, destroy and to kill (John 10:10) But Jesus came to give us an abundant life. So, now I had to make a choice, do I give into the (phantom) pain or do I believe I am completely set free from this generational curse.
The woman with the issue of blood believed that Jesus is her Healer and therefore received her healing manifestation. So do I, He is my Healer!
Do you have a medical condition you have been suffering from for a long time? Perhaps even something happening recently. Trust yourself to Jesus as being your Healer. After receiving a healing move and do what you could not do before,; move in faith believing. Speak the Word over yourself and insist, if you know you received healing.
Father, we are asking for the Power of the Holy Spirit to touch Your people with healing through Jesus today. Help us to hold on to our confession of having received healing. AMEN
