Now offering 'PRAYER TIME'

In order to connect with my readers even better, I would like to offer

'PRAYER TIME'

here on this blog.

Please leave your prayer requests in the comment section and I will pray for you. Believing that the prayer of a righteous man prevailed much....I believe that God is eager to answer our prayers.

And please also leave your Praise reports too. It will be encouraging to read all answers to prayers.

Fear.....NOT!

We all have been afraid of something in our lifetime. Those "shadows" which scare us, implying that danger is right in front of us.

But from everlasting to everlasting the Lord’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children— with those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts. Psalm 103:17-18

This kind of fear is not that kind of fear which comes from the darkness of life. This kind of fear is a reverent kind of fear. Respecting and reverencing God in all of His ways. Giving yourself over to God in order to receive protection and all benefits available to us.

To be afraid is a whole other matter, entirely. There is such a thing as a "healthy" kind of being afraid. It is more a warning light going off in our brain. Making us aware of a "something not quite right" situation.
This next scripture, my favorite of all times. Why? Because it has set me free from being afraid of most things. I could literally see the right hand of God extended with me on it.  I used to have phobias of all kinds. Being bound by fear is a terrible state to be in!

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10

When I read this verse and had this supernatural revelation of what that means to me, I just started shaking off these unrealistic fears and began to walk in truth and boldness. Boldness against the lies of the enemy and induced by the cooperation of people. Yes, supernatural! Jesus truly set me free and no longer do I have those fears. Once we are free we are truly free!

There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. John 4:18

It is in Love...it is in Him who is love: JESUS; that there is not fear.

See when we do not deal with our fears in the ways of God, we are opening the doors to the enemy and allowing him to invade our life. This causes not only consequences to ourselves but to the ones around us; the ones we come in contact with. It will bring destruction by lashing out in fear. Believing there is a treat when it is not so. Causing division in the Body of Christ.

Friend, allow Jesus to set you free. So you can be free in Christ, to be the manifested Love of God to all around you.

If you are asking: "How can I be free?" please feel free to leave a comment/prayer request and I will respond.

Good bye and farewell, until next time.

Godly giving has no strings attached.

Giving....is it real giving or does our giving have strings attached? When we give to others do we expect something in return? Do we get upset when our giving is not met with fulfilled expectations from the receiver? Do we expect he receiver to fulfill our 10 item task list, now that we have given?

Giving has to be an act of selfless, heartfelt doing. Christ gave His life for us though we where yet sinners. He gave His life, died for us even though we where still filled with sin and acted immoral, selfish etc.

We have a choice to give. We can say NO. But when we say yes we have to do it with our whole heart. Giving to others is for us....yes for us. We are rewarded for giving to others, when no strings are attached. I am not saying give and pour out your pearls before the swine. But give and let God deal with the result to the receiver.

There is a big difference between giving and enabling. And we should know the difference. But at the same time, if we listen to the fear tactics of the enemy or we are holding on to unforgiveness toward a person in previous times, being taken advantage off by that person, we are hurting ourselves. The enemy loves to wisper into our ear, telling us how undeserving that receiver is. Or how this person we attempt to give to is not fulfilling our expectations and we shouldn't give.  It will destroy a friendship and swings the door wide open for satan to come into the giver's life. Often those who have sin in their life, accuse others of sin. Accusation and lies are from the father of lies and the accuser of the brothers.

So give with a heart of gladness and a will to help. Don't harden your heart toward the person you give but allow God to bring the good result for giver and receiver. And don't make the receiver feel welcome when in fact as giver we are ready to blow, not getting the desired expectation in return.

Father, we ask today that your will be done, in the giver's life as well as in the receiver's life. AMEN

When it is my will....and not Yours Lord

Hello, friends and readers. It's been a while....

Today, one more tricky and uncomfortable subject. What happens when we put ourselves into situation of our own will. Believing God is leading us but really, He isn't? Well the word rebellion comes to mind.

- an act of violent or open resistance to an established government or ruler;
- the action or process of resisting authority, control, or convention

History has shown that rebellion can be something of value and can bring freedom from tyranie, abuse of certain people groups and so on.

But in this context, I am speaking of rebellion against God. Before looking at what kind of consequences this can bring to one's life, lets see which character in the Bible stands out as rebel. We can make decisions to create, allow or neglect something in our life which has its foundation in negative emotions. And not based on God's wisdom and plan.

...The word of the Lord came to Jonah son of Amittai: “Go to the great city of Nineveh and preach against it, because its wickedness has come up before me.” But Jonah ran away from the Lord and headed for Tarshish. He went down to Joppa, where he found a ship bound for that port. After paying the fare, he went aboard and sailed for Tarshish to flee from the Lord.

There were so many negative consequences to this decision for Jonah and the people he came in contact with. Threat of ship wreck, needless suffering of the people of Nineveh prolonged etc. Not to mention the absence of peace. At the end Jonah repented, returned to complete God's will and understood.

Next and the most important example of rebellion against God: Adam and Eve in the Garden, loosing everything. Gaining the understanding of pain and loss. Having opened the door to evil for all of us.

Why then does God allow us to make wrong choices? Because He is a gracious, loving God and He has our long term well being in mind. He allows us to eventually make the right decision to turn away from our rebellious nature and to turn to Him, if we choose so. Turning to His Wisdom and Will brings us great blessings and peace. He longs for us to spend eternity with Him and not to be separated from Him in hell for eternity!

In my own life, I can look back now and see the rebellious moments in my life. Thank God for His faithfulness to help me to turn away from my own understanding and my rebellious nature. The reasons for rebellion are vast and most always found in pain and pressure, put upon us. So why not turn to this loving God who can heal us and mend the pieces of our hearts and souls,  broken apart by life. Jesus' body was broken and beaten for our healing and peace.

My prayer today: Father, help us to think....before making any decision. Help us to submit our thoughts, life to You. Only to gain peace and all blessings from heaven.

Farewell and good bye until next time.

Where and How?

Well, Hello....where are you today? What do you have today?

It is so hard sometimes to just think for today:

So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Matthew 6:31-34

Lately, my path has been more on those lines again. I can depend on getting this lesson every so often.  Presented by a loving God, who wants to remind us to trust in Him alone and only to be concerned about TODAY!

I have to admit, it is getting easier over time, but not completely without stretching pains. Faith that is stretched produces some level of pain to our flesh. But as we grow to trust God, we endure pain with more joy and anticipation toward the result.

I know, this sounds strange, but there can be joy in pain.

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. James 1:2-8

Joy in this case is not something originating from us, rather the Joy of the Lord, which is our strength. Therefore, we are experiencing a Joy that is a gift and cannot be take from us, unless we give it away. And that is something to be learned and exercised. Just as healing and other gifts need to be claimed and kept by us. Not giving it up to the enemy.

Coming back to trusting God for today; it is a learning process and does not come overnight. But in the end, knowing God to be trustworthy and seeing His provision is an adventure. It never gets old how He provides. And yes, sometimes, I don't care so much for the HOW. But if I continue to trust Him, it always works out in the end.

My Prayer today: Father help us to trust you, every day.

So long and good bye....until next time.
